LONG HANBOROUGH METHODIST CHURCH

At the centre of the village and community
WELCOME TO

Long Hanborough is situated on the edge of the Cotswolds, 5 miles East of Witney 3 miles West of Woodstock and 8 miles NW of Oxford.
Our Superintendent Minister Rev Ian Duffy
is married to Liz, they have two children and two grandchildren.
Before becoming a minister he served his apprenticeship in H.M. dockyard Portsmouth and moved on to become a leading draughtsman at M.O.D.(N) headquarters in Bath. It was there that he met Liz and married her 37 years ago. He trained at Wesley College in Bristol and by the time he retires in 2015 he will have served in four circuits, in two as Superintendent Minister.
He is thrilled to have Long Hanborough and Freeland added to his pastoral responsibilities, and to be working with Jenny Sexton.
He is looking forward to exploring together different ways of encouraging the churches to grow and fulfil their ‘Mission Statement’.
Our Mission Statement
