The church was built in 1895 and a schoolroom added in 1901. The rear extension was added in the 1970’s. We are now planning to alter our church buildings to bring them up to modern day standards.

It is one of 17 Methodist churches in the Witney and Faringdon circuit.
Our average weekly attendance is 30-40, we have 58 members and pastoral care of a further 75, this includes 15 children in our Young Church.
As a church we value worship through which we increase our awareness of God’s presence and celebrate his love.

Other important aspects of our church life are an active prayer life, bible study, pastoral care and fellowship with each other so that we can help people to learn and grow as Christians through mutual care and support.
Our priority is to proclaim and affirm our conviction of God’s love in Christ, for us and for all the world.
We  keep God in the centre of our worship and prayer and ask His blessing on all that we do.
We have a close association with our Anglican friends and share some worship and activities with them, including joint PCC and Church Councils.
We have now entered a covenant with them, the signing of which took place at a special service in October 2007.
Our Church supports Fairtrade and in 2004 our circuit was the first in the country to gain Fairtrade status.

As far as is possible all events in our church use Fairtrade tea, coffee and sugar and we sell Traidcraft foodstuffs at our ‘Cornerstone Coffee House’ on a Friday.
