LONG HANBOROUGH METHODIST CHURCH

Home.About us.Activities.Outreach.Diary.Location.Contacts.

A team of volunteers from church and community keep Cornerstone running smoothly baking, serving and washing-up. Regular donations are made from Cornerstone's proceeds to varying charities - local, national and international.

Cornerstone attracts customers of all ages and provides the opportunity to form new friendships. We welcome all to drop in for a cuppa, and a slice of delicious cake!

CORNERSTONE COFFEE HOUSE

Cornerstone aims to be a link between church and community; providing a friendly, welcoming place for people to meet over coffee etc.

Every Friday in term-time, the Welcome Room at the Methodist Church is transformed
into Cornerstone Coffee House! We open between 8.45am and 2.45pm and serve fairtrade coffee, teas and hot chocolate, as well as squashes, homemade cakes, filled rolls and soup. We also have a selection of Traidcraft products for sale.

There are toys and books to keep younger children busy, and magazines and a local paper for adults who wish to take time out! For those seeking a challenge, a quiz is available each half-term for a small charge (the money raised is donated to the Toybox Charity), and a small prize is awarded to the winner.
