Services at Long Hanborough for this quarter 2011/2012

Young Church

We welcome children of all ages to our church.

On Sunday mornings, our church family meets together for worship at 10.00am.
After the first 5 - 10 minutes of the service, the children and young people leave for
their own activities:-

0 - 3 yrs     We provide crèche facilities for babies and toddlers in the Welcome room.
However, if parents prefer that their children stay in the service, then there are ‘quiet toys’ and books available in the red box in the church - just  help yourself.

3 - 10 yrs   We meet in the Welcome Room for a whole range of activities geared to helping the children learn about Christianity whilst having fun. We use Scripture Union material as a base for our sessions and encourage the children to apply what they are learning to their every day experiences.

11+           Young people of senior school age are invited to ‘Focus’ which meets in the Manor School (next door), joining with the young people from the Anglican Church.

At around 11.00am the adults and children’s groups come together for refreshments in the Welcome room - a time to share with each other.
